Terms of Service – Free Tradie Websites

1. Agreement

By signing up to Free Tradie Websites ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. No Lock-In Contracts

There are no fixed-term contracts. You may cancel at any time in accordance with our cancellation policy.

3. Platform & Hosting

All websites are built on WordPress and hosted on our managed servers.

  • Your website must remain hosted with us while your plan is active
  • We manage hosting, security, updates, and performance

4. Payments

  • Payments are processed via Stripe using a valid credit or debit card
  • You authorise recurring weekly payments based on your selected plan
  • Your website may be built in draft prior to launch
  • Your website will only go live once the first payment has been successfully received

5. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to contact you via email and/or phone/SMS.

  • After 48 hours: your website may be placed “Under Construction”
  • After a further 48 hours: your website may be removed

We are not liable for any loss resulting from suspension or removal, including loss of leads, rankings, or business activity.

6. Cancellation

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted via email
  • A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required

During this period, your service remains active and regular billing continues.

7. Website Ownership & Buyout

We heavily subsidise the upfront cost of building your website.

Early Buyout (First 24 Months)

You may purchase your website at any time within the first 24 months for a one-time fee equal to 52 weeks of your current plan.

Once paid:

  • Full website files will be provided
  • You may transfer and host the website anywhere

After 24 Months (Release Option)

After 24 months of active subscription, you may request to move your website to another provider.

A small release and transfer fee may apply to cover:

  • Website migration and file preparation
  • Technical handover and support removal

We will always confirm this fee in writing before proceeding.

8. Content

  • You may supply your own content and images during onboarding, or we can create them for you
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before launch

9. Design & Revisions (Pre-Launch)

  • Your website will be built using a selected design/layout
  • One (1) round of revisions for content and images is included prior to launch
  • Additional changes will be charged at our standard hourly rate

10. Revisions (Post-Launch)

  • All changes must be requested via email
  • Work is charged at $60 per hour
  • All work will be quoted and approved before commencement

11. Timeframes

Websites typically go live within 7–14 days, provided all required content, information, and approvals are supplied on time.

Delays from the client will extend delivery timeframes.

12. Acceptable Use

  • Illegal or unlawful activity
  • Spam or misleading practices
  • Offensive or harmful content

We may suspend or terminate services for breaches.

13. Access & Control

  • We retain full administrative control while your plan is active
  • Limited access may be provided for content edits
  • Changes made by you may cause issues, and we may charge to fix or restore the site at our standard hourly rate
  • Full admin access is only provided upon buyout

14. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of revenue, leads, rankings, or business interruption.

Services are provided on an “as is” basis.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
